malcolm tried to avoid this exact situation when he found out kane was also becoming a trainer, making sure that they worked different times but because of a mix up they got scheduled together. he stayed quiet most of the shift, not many people coming in for training and mostly to just work out but when the gym was empty and malcolm was cleaning up, he glanced over to kane. "you training people to use drugs here too or was that only a you thing?" he asked sarcastically. "makes more sense that you fucked off here now, hiding away from the problems you created. feels like a coward move if you ask me."
